What Qualities Are Influencing Your Leadership?

A question leaders often get asked is "Who has influenced your life the most?" At a recent speaking engagement, I heard the company president answer this question in a unique way. Instead of listing off people who had influenced his life, he share the qualities of people who shaped his leadership. 

His response was a great reminder that rather than following the example of another leader, we should look at the character of those who have positively influenced us and embody those qualities into our own leadership.
